Doral Resort - What to Do?

Travel Info
I will be heading to Doral Resort in late June. I have a rental car, but what is there to do around the area. I will be working 8-5 Monday-Friday; I'm really looking for great places to hang out with a 30ish crowd (more professional).

How much can I expect to spend at a good dance club (again 30ish)?

All that being said - I've never been to Miami: what should I make sure to see (not only around Doral)?

Thanks sooo much.

Travel Tips
Well I live 3 minutes away from the doral resort, there is a club called "la covacha" but its more of a teen atmosphere. But the resort is overall relaxing & fun, its a spa & 3 large pools with falls, golf course, parks, etc. All the good dance clubs are in south beach & downtown & ocean drive such as Space, Oxygen, Level, etc. In miami your gonna see alot of latin life, touristic things, malls, and more. well in doral is a pretty large city. in doral theres 2 popular malls "Dolphin Mall" & "International Mall". The beaches are awesome especially in South Beach. You can spend from $15-$150 in a club, depending which one you go to & how many drinks you order & how many people you pay for, etc. But if you know where to go, for sure you will have fun. good luck! Other Travel Tips
around doral there are golf courses, businesses and residential areas, that is it. if you want dancing you should head to south beach (about 20 minute drive east on the 836 highway) and hit the clubs on washington and ocean drive between 5 and 17 streets.

Like they said before you can go to la covacha which is a very latin nightclub. Around there you should try some typical venezuelan food since it is called Doralzuela. but make sure to visit south beach and the clubs. Also go to sw 8st which is close to eat cuban cuisine and experience cuban culture.

Doral resort itself has golf and the spa. There is nothing else to do in Doral, especially if you don't speak Spanish--the "Doralzuela" comment is absolutely true. The rest of the city is either residential, industrial/freight, or government offices. Take the 836 east and go over the Causeway to Miami Beach for clubs, or go south on the Turnpike to US1 if you want to chill in the Keys.
