Travel Info Looking to find something enjoyable, yet romantic for a couple to do on Fathers Day in and around the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area.......open for all ideas.....Thanks!! Travel Tips Ok you can go to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, do a picnic at the beach. There is also this great park next the Fort Lauderdale airport, its called the Greenbelt park(Its on griffin rd. right before US1). Take her shopping and a movie at Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise, there are also a lot of restaurants around there. And then there is Las Olas Riverfront that has shops, restaurants, and clubs! I used to live there, but it was when I was pretty young so I don't really know a whole lot about what to do for adults. I know the beach is not too far from there, beach is always romantic! I believe the name of the beach is Deerfield? Take her for a stroll at Butterfly World http://www.butterflyworld.com/start.html... You live in Florida you have the hole ocean to use. Go fishing, boating, use jet skies, go wake boarding, ext. It should be a crime to stay at home and watch t.v. only a lazy guy would do that. SO GO OUT SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got back from vacation in Ft Lauderdale. A place we enjoyed eating was Charlie's Crab..you can sit outside and eat right alongside the water, and the food was great! We also went shopping at Sawgrass Mills (about 20 mins west of Ft Lauderdale) which was the largest outlet mall in the country. Lots of nice things there. |
