Does anyone know about open houses in Fort Lauderdale? |
Travel Info Hello All, I will be going to Fort Lauderdale in the upcoming months and will be staying at the Best Western, which is located at 1180 Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Does anyone know of any open houses we can visit in Fort Lauderdale? We like to do some house hunting and want to know where to start looking! Distance is not a problem, since we will have a car. Thanks to all that replies! ~Missaquarian Travel Tips Well, you are in a great location, so that's good. As for the open houses, it's one of those things- they are just all over the place! The best place to start is in the Sun-Sentinel, which is Broward County's newspaper. They have a lot of open house listings. More importantly I think would be to decide what areas you are interested in and plan out your day accordingly. If you are staying in that area, it doesn't make sense to see houses there if it's not in your budget. East Ft. Lauderdale, Victoria Park, Wilton Manors, and Harbor Beach are pricey areas, so do some homework in advance about whether those areas are within your price range. For some more affordable neighbrohoods, you can try Sunrise, Pompano, Deerfield Beach, Dania, Hollywood, and Oakland Park. Weekends are great for open houses, and the Sunday section of the Sun- Sentinel has a huge housing section in it called "The Home Spot." The other way to find open houses would be to drive around, or of course, contact some local real estate offices. Some good ones in that area are: Century 21, Esslinger Wooten Maxwell, and ReMax. Those are large ones, so they will obviously have more listings than small firms. I hope this helps! Source(s): Just moved from Ft.
