Where is the BEST Shopping in Miami?? |
Travel Info What time do they open? How far away from the airport? Wholesale Clothing District? Travel Tips Dolphin Mall has alot of great and cheap shopping. It is about 10 tp 15 minutes from the airport. The Falls is alot farther and has a more upscale shopping area. Sunset Mall is also high end and pricy. Dadeland Mall is a middle ground. There are alot of high end shops with smaller buisnesses. If you take the 836 west to the 826 south you will see it on your left hand side!!! Others Wholesale clothing district: We don't really have many of those in Miami the only place I can think of is Dolphin Mall which is very close to Miami International Airport. Now I don't know what type of shopping you are looking for. For the shopping Miami is famous for which is expensive things you go to Bal Harbor Mall in Bal Harbor near Miami Beach about 35minutes with no traffic from the Airport. Or you go to Coral Gables which is also about 25 minutes no traffic from the Airport. Also there is plenty of unique shopping on Collins Ave in Miami Beach and Lincoln road also in Miami Beach. One of the largest malls in the world is about a hour and half north of Miami in north Broward County. The name of the mall is Sawgrass Mills. It is a huge mall, with many outlet stores etc.. But Miami is not really known for outlet shopping, Miami is known for its good upscale shopping like NY,London,LA type of shopping. Oh yea the malls open at 10 close at around 9. The upscale stores open at 9 or 10 and close around 6-7. Many stores in Miami Beach will remain open till 10-11pm a few till 12am. Miami Resident. SOme of the beach shops in miami beach (north) have some really cute brazilian jeans.. and i've been to dolphin mall (really big) there's another one next to it, and i've been to aventura mall. aventura is really expensive!! i almost couldnt buy anything there.. well i can now hehe. aventura mall is not in miami though its in aventura. |
