Went thru teh SunPass Only lane on dolphin expressway.. I have no supass! What will happen? |
Travel Info My idiot boyfriend was driving my car, talking and not paying attention and the roads split WIDE and he took MY car thru the damn sunpass only and the camera got my picture. Am i getting a fine or a warning?? (one lady at a booth said i get a fine, the other said If its your first time u get a warning). So am I getting a warning or a fine (in othe words who is right?). What the hell do I need to go do, go buy a sun pass real quick and hope they haven't checked me yet? Travel Tips If it was your first time, they will just send you a warning letter. If it's not your first time, then they will send you a violation letter for $25 (i think thats how much mine was the last time I got one). If they send you the violation letter, and you know a friend who has a sunpass transponder. Have them call Sunpass for you and say that they were driving your vehicle, and they used their transponder but for some reason, when they went through the sunpass it did not read it. They will just deduct the toll fee from your friend's Sunpass account and clear the violation. If you do get a violation notice, make sure to take care of it asap. I've had so many problems with Sunpass and have had to take time off from work to go to court for them. Others If they do fine you it will be $100. But they may not even do anything. You will know in less than a month. You will be notify that You own the toll fee,just mail it. and they will say that's a no-no. please, don't do it again. |
