Travel Info Should i live in Miami or Fort lauderdale? Travel Tips Ft. Lauderdale, hands down, depending on where you work. Ft. Lauderdale is more affordable, and people are nicer and more respectful in general. And another plus is that people will address you in english first, rather than spanish. I lived in the Miami/FLL area for 20 years, and only chose to live in Miami throughout one of those years, and that was enough for me. There are so many great neighborhoods in FLL that are clean, safe and close to everything, and affordable. Check out Plantation, Hollywood, Victoria Park, Ft. Lauderdale (near 17th Street only), Wilton Manors, Pompano, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Weston, and Aventura (this is actually the northernmost Miami city). Lauderdale to Miami is not pretty... ft. lauderdale i live in ft lauderdale but i always go down to Miami and there is always traffic but in ft lauderdale its not so crowded. also there's alot of cimes in miami. |
