Things to do in Miami??? |
Travel Info Ok so I went to Vizcaya today and loved it. I'm not a big beach person or a shopping person. Although I do like Antiques. I was thinking of going to Fairchild Botanical Gardens but it seems like a bunch of palm trees. Also then I thought of Fruit and Spice Park? I am not sure. Is a tour of the Everglades fun? I really am not a huge nature girl especially in this heat. Any ideas? Recommendations? Travel Tips Snorkeling in the one of the largest coral reefs in the world? Biscayne National park is near Miami. Of course there is Everglades National Park, it is amazing, the most unique eco-system in the world only minutes away from one of the largest cities in the world. If you don't like shopping or the beach? Well you can always just have some food on Lincoln road in Miami Beach and people watch. Visit the Metro Zoo it is world class zoo. Learn some of Miami history and spots by taking a city tour. You could go to Jungle Island which is right off of I-395 on Watson Island. I really recommend you go to the Beach once though, South Beach is ranked the 7th best beach in the world you are so close to you should give it a shot once. Of course there is always Miami Beach at night too. Source(s): Miami resident Other Travel Tips if you enjoy great music and dining out. i would recommend south beach (although you're not a fan of the beach) south beach has museums, parks, great dining, lots of clubs! also try Las Olas, or Bayside. Metro Zoo or Miami Seaquarium might be great options also. like video games? why not go to Boomers? a huge arcade and put put golfing. My sister is not an out door girl herself but she loved taking an air boat tour in the Everglades. You are bound to see a variety of wildlife. We went in the summer with my uncle and it wasn't too hot. You can also go to Miami Metro zoo, Jungle Island, and the Miami Seaquarium. Live in Miami SURF!!! Go to the mall. Chill a bit. Waterparks! Beaches!Malls!Canoeing! Casino's! Go on a cruise! Eat! Florida has great pizza! Trust me I live here! if You went to Viscaya,then You are close to Seaquarium and the Parrot Jungle ,Bayside, and coconut grove. if you choose the everglades then check upon the Miccosooke's Casinos and Resort. |
