I want to go to miami, be close to south beach and downtown. I don't want a 2 star but 3-4.? |
Travel Info I can't spend that much like the Ritz but I was looking at RAMADA PLAZA MARCO POLO BEACH RESORT, or South Beach Plaza. Any recommendations on either or any other. I need it to be clean and with a pool oh and a bar... Travel Tips The Marco Polo is nowhere near South Beach. It's about midway between Ft. Lauderdale & Miami Beach. South Beach Plaza is on 14th & Collins, pretty much the center of action. It is a renovation of a 1936 Art Deco hotel. It has a bar. Whether it has a pool I don't know, but it's only a short block from Ocean Drive & the beach. If you want to be within walking distance of everything & are getting a good price; this is probably a good choice. Note: Its a noisy neighborhood, even into the am hours -- that's the price of being central. Others Check out hotwire.com you can request a 3 or 4 star hotel in a specific area and for a drastically lower rate. I did this last year and we ended up at the InterContinental, a 4 star hotel in dowtown Miami for $99 a night! The hotel was beautiful and for that price you cant go wrong. check out hotwire.com |
