i didnt quite follow the answers of the person above so here is my take on it. i have only crossed using the colombia road once and it takes you way out of the way. i believe it is mainly for thru commerical traffic to avoid the congestion of laredo. i say go via I-35 to the main border crossing in laredo and then 85 tollway to monterrey. the tollway is expensive but the fastest. once youve gotten through the red tape in laredo you can follow the 85 cuota signs to monterrey. |
