I have been researching about night life in Monterrey,Mx. I have been their many times but have only gone to a club called Skandal. I have seen websites with many fotos for La Fe Music hall and El Volcan Music hall. Has anyone been their before? What is the difference between the two places and what kind of music do they have? Thanks!

mm Im from MTY and let me tell you la fe and el volcan are kind of ugly, trashy, the skandal it is a great salsa place, wanna go to really nice places, try the downtown part called "Barrio Antiguo" (the old neighborhood) it is a place full of small bars, great night clubs like Umma, Bar-Rio, San Pedro Antiguo, also great restaurants...........or in another part of the city go to "Centrito Valle" (meaning the small downtown) there you can go to the Illume, Alebrije, great night clubs too.
