I have always wanted to go Montreal?

I live in Winnipeg and with many of my friends travelling to Montreal and coming back and telling me so many cool things I wanna go......How many hours by car am I looking at if I drive there?

It's 1821 Km between Montr茅al and Winnipeg. Even at 100Km an hour that would be 18 hours! If you add a couple of hours to eat and sleep 24 hours ,minimum!

It would be easier for you and probably less expensive to take the Via Rail train (If you factor in car rental, gas prices, time spent driving, and parking costs in downtown Montreal.).

You go from Winnipeg to Toronto, switch trains from Toronto to Montreal. You are then downtown. You can walk around the downtown core, or take the subway (clean, fast, and safe) to get from one part of the island to another. You can see McGill University campus, check out the Olympic stadium, visit La Ronde, go to the clubs downtown, take a boatride in the St. Laurence, go to the Old Port and take in the sites. At this time of the year, all you really need is a spring coat and maybe an umbrella.
You're looking at a long drive especially if you go over the lakehead.
It will probably take you a couple of days unless you're into non-stop driving.

I was born and raised in Montreal.....It is a great town. A little bit of Europe right here in Canada.

you can drive in a day and a half, or maybe 2 days depending on how far you go each day.
