You can live relatively comfortably on about $700,000 per year.
When I was living in Montr茅al three years ago, I was living a decent life and my monthly spending were within $3000.00 including the entertainment. . . I had an apartment in the South Shore (Longueuil). . . I miss these days, it was much cheaper than Tonto!
I have lived my whole life in Montreal. For a single person a decent standard of living would cost about $2500 to $3000.
to Romeo .I didn't know ther was a city named Tonto!
My boyfriend makes 20 000$ a year and lives in LaSalle. He has a pretty ok living but his apartment is small. It all depends on what you spend. If you spend friviously on clothes and accessories and DVDs then you will need more. I think that around 25 000$ a year for a single person would be more than enough but 20 000$ is the bare minimum unless you have roommates, want to live downtown, or live beyond your means.
