I lived in both but came back to Montr茅al. People from Toronto aren't as approachable as Montr茅alers. They go about their business and ignore you. My neighbors didn't say 1 hello to me in 2 years in Toronto. In Montr茅al they greeted me on the first day when I moved in.
I think it was a hockey thing the fact that people from Montr茅al hate Toronto.

We know that every year during NHL Season, These two teams don't like each other. At the same time, the Rivalry Between the Canadiens and Maple Leafs just seem to get better every time they meet.

Also, the reason why Some(Not all) Montrealers Hate Torontonians is because of Political reasons.
We all know that Quebec is a French Predominant Province and Ontario is Basically more on the English front. So I Guess it's the norm that Only French Speaking people hate Only English Speaking People.

Not unless You are Bilingual and Like Both cities, then it's not a problem.
