Where in Montreal can I find affordable housing/apartments with *parking*?

Travel Info
Sharing a place $300-400.

Travel Tips
As you mention you are sharing the cost of $300 to $400 it is feasible. There could be several areas that you could find this. Cote des Neiges is one, the East End (more French speaking) Verdun, N.D.G are a few areas. I thought the link from Craigslist in Montreal would help. Check the housing ads. Halifax
Try the Cote des Neiges area. There are lots of apartments there that has parking spaces and it ranges from $350 to $450 a month.
You might also want to try the NDG area. They might also have housing there that has that price.
Definitely not in downtown Montreal or anywhere (relatively) near it. The Plateau probably has some apartments in your price range but I doubt a lot of them have parking. Westmount and Outremount probably have the parking but these two areas are pretty pricey. Your best bet would be to keep moving further east or west along the island. If you get out far enough, you'll get more space for less money and you won't have to compromise yourself by living in a shady area.

This will give you a general idea of what's "out there" for your price range: http://montreal.craigslist.org/search/ap...
Good luck to you, lol!
