How long is the bus ride to Ste.-Anne-de-Bellevue from downtown Montreal/Verdun? |
Travel Info How long is the bus ride to Ste.-Anne-de-Bellevue from downtown Montreal/Verdun? Travel Tips Verdun is not in downtown Montreal. As posted above, the best bus route is # 211. It probably takes about 1 hour. This bus leaves from Lionel-Groulx Metro station, which is also not downtown. Lionel-Groulx is about ten minutes or less from any of the downtwon Metro stations, and about ten minutes from the Verdun Metro station. Another option is to take the Metro to Lucien-L'Allier station or Vendome station and catch the surface rail train to Ste.-Anne-de-Bellevue. The surface rail train takes about 40 to 45 minutes. Source(s): http://www.amt.qc.ca/tc/train/horaires/h... http://www.stm.info/metro/mapmetro.htm... Other Travel Tips almost an hour on the 211 from Lionel-Groulx except I think in rush-hour you can get one that mostly stays on the highway, as does the night one, the 354. But then it's usually more than an hour because it's rush-hour. You'd probably want to take the metro from Verdun to Lionel-Groulx, less than 15 minutes I think. How come every answer posted above Lolita's for most if not all questions she/he has answered has a thumbs-down? I lived in Ste-Anne's for 9 months and went downtown by bus relatively often. I doubt they've improved the service markedly. Haven't lived in Ste-Anne since 1992 though! Too damn long! The following links may help but I'm not too sure... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/sainte-anne... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/verdun_%28b... Takes about an hour. Take the 211 from Lionel Groulx metro. I have taken this bus ride before and timed it to be about 45 minutes to one hour each way. |
