What METRO stop do I get off at to get to Notre Dame Catherdral? |
Travel Info What METRO stop do I get off at to get to Notre Dame Catherdral? Travel Tips Mel is correct. The closest Metro stop is Place d'Armes. The only thing I wanted to add to that was that the Montreal subway system has a great website that shows maps of the area surrounding each metro station. I have enclosed the link to the Place d'Armes station, but you can use the "Back to Metro Map" link at the top to select another station to look at for other interesting spots. Source(s): I use these maps all the time when I am planning to go downtown and need to figure out which roads will get me to the place I want to go. http://www.stcum.qc.ca/english/metro/a-m... Other Travel Tips Not sure! Have you visited this site yet? It's just South of downtown Montreal if my memory is correct in the old part of Montreal, you get me? Try getting off at Place-d'Armes and ask directions from there. Good luck to you buddy! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/montreal... Get off at Place d'Armes station on the orange line - the Notre Dame BASILICA (it isn't a cathedral, by the way) is just a short block south (up hill). Get off at Place d'armes metro station at the orange line. Go up the stairs on your way to the Palais des Congres. Then once you get out of the metro, walk up hill and there you will see the Notre Dame Basillica. Also, If you want to, You can go to the Old port of Montreal. Lots of Fun stuff there too like the outdoor floral garden exhibit and the Montreal Science Centre and IMAX theatre. http://stm.info/english/a-somm.htm... |
