I and my wife have two daughters and a son. my wife is retired teacher and I will be retired in a the next year. I want to know if it is possible for me to have a suitable job and also a convinent life there. I have an MA degree in linguistics.

I recommend the West Coast - either Vancouver or Victoria.
Vancouver has an advantage in that the University of British Columbia is located there.
Victoria is a great city for Retirement living.
