Thanks, we stayed at the Marriott Springhill Suites at 445 St. Jean Baptiste. It's kind of tucked away but large new suites with kitchenette, work area with free highspeed internet at $129/night (CA) was a bargain. Oh yeah, and also free full hot breakfast.

St Paul, Nelligan and St Sulpice are good choices for boutique hotels...but there is also the W hotel, which has a trendy bar/lounge
St. James is one i think-
the rolling stones stayed there when they were in town....
$$$$$!
