What should I see when I go to Montreal, Canada in late June? |
Travel Info I'm going to the Grand Prix of Canada, and I want to see the city as well. Suggestions? Travel Tips The old port of Montreal is great (le vieux port de Montreal). On July 1st, Canada day, it's the day when everyone is moving so it's actually not a good day for hanging out in the street of Montreal. Shopping is fun in Montreal. On Sainte-Catherine st. between Bleury and Atwater or at the Carrefour Laval (the biggest mall in QC). http://www.carrefourlaval.ca/ Mont-Royal av. is a nice place too For the best restaurants, stores, nightlife, arts... etc. you should check "the best of Montreal 2006". it's a popular pool made by the Mirror newspaper for montrealers and tourists. http://www.montrealmirror.com/2006/05110... "Six flags : La ronde" is a nice park with a new roller coaster. Have a nice trip! Others oh im sry i guess i should a known that and im sure u were juz jokin when u said juicy chick lingo but sry. Modified 11 months ago The Montreal Jazz festival takes place late June. There's also an international fire works competition that happens just before Jazz Fest. ..And if you like amusement parks, check out La Ronde! if you will be here into july/06, the 'just for laughs festival' is great. so many wonderful comics come here. tickets sell out fast. we go every year ... wouldn't miss it! another thing we like to do around this time of year is watch the international fireworks comeptition at la ronde. hope you have fun! http://hahaha.com/comedy-2006.html... http://www.internationaldesfeuxloto-queb... |
