Can you bring Cuban cigars into the U.S. from Canada? Also how much do they go for in Montreal?

I believe possession in the U.S. is illegal. If that is the case then how you bring them in is irrelevent.

yes.....no idea on the cost...i do think how much your allowd to carry back is limited.
You probably can buy them there, but they are illegal to take across the border to the US. In Mexico, they cost 7-15 dollars (US) each. Make wise choices.

Since Kennedy enacted the Cuban Trade embargo, the sale of any cuban manufactured products with in the US has been Illegal, this also includes the transportation of such products into the US by private citizens for the intent of selling them. This includes Cuban Cigars. Any large number of cuban cigars will be confiscated if found by customs agents, also depending on the agent even just one might be confiscated, especially if they smoke cuban cigars. There are ways that I have heard of guy getting around this such as switching cigar bands, but that requires buying extra cigars that you don't intend to smoke, that are the exact same size as the cuban ones and putting in alot of effort andhaving to throw away the cuban bands and then convince your friends that you really did bring back cubans. also, you run the risk of purchasing your cigars from a store that specilizes in fooling dumb americans by doing what I just described and switching bands and then selling the Americans fake cubans, cigars that they could have bought in their own country for 1/4 what they will pay for anything that they are told is a cuban. I own a Cigar Shop in Dallas Tx, I have friends around the world that I talk to about cigars, and in most other countries cubans are no big deal. The only reason that they are so big here is that in the US they are illegal, save yourself the trouble and buy yourself a Fuente Hemingway, it's as good as if not better than 95% of Cubans, or if you want to impress your friends just go to a cigar shop when you get back and buy a bunch of cheep cigars, remove the bands and tell them all about how you had to take off the bands in order to smuggle in all these great cubans they're smoking with you.

If you try to take them into the USA, Customs will confiscate them. THey will tell you that they will burn them but they do not go into the details of the burning procedures!!!!
