Shopping in Canada, what are the prices ? |
Travel Info I'd like to know how much cost a pair of converse tennis shoes, or a pair a levi's jeans in the east part of Canada (Montreal, Quebec, Toronto). Are the prices cheap like in the USA ? Travel Tips the shoes are about 80 to 90 bux canadian, and the jeans go from 50 to 70 dollars canadian i woulds say that the prices probly work out to being the same after the money exchange Source(s): I AM CANADIAN!!! Other Travel Tips The prices are a bit more than the USA - you'd be further ahead buying in the US. In fact, we take shopping trips to NY just to get cheaper stuff than we can find here! Same price as US, I live in Toronto and recently visited Buffalo where I went shopping at the Walden Galleria very little difference in prices although American dollar is a little stronger about 10 cents per dollar. I was really disappointed as the US use to be cheaper. Considering my last trip to the States it's actually a bit cheaper and your exchange rate makes it even better. well since they are American made, or based in America, that means they have to ship them to all other places. So in Canada it would be more exspensive. go to an outlet mall and it'll be chaper but the prices are the about same |
