I live in Montreal and was just wondering what you thought of us people here...

Having lived in MTL for 6 years and visiting it every summer, it is one of my favorite place. Unlike most people think, MTL doesn't treat English speakers that bad, I've spoken English their all over and everyone is nice to me even though I'm quite fluent in French also...I like to mix it up :D. The locals are very cool and laid back, not uptight like many here in the U.S. You can't beat the architecture of the city; just beautiful. Where else in America can you get the European feel mixed with modern America? And the bars, cafe lounges, clubs, restos, pool halls are really nice...pretty much you can find a joint on any street to hang out. Also can't beat the summer festivals, I don't think there are any cities like MTL in the summer from June to August...festivals after festivals. Also the night life, I love the night life in MTL, unlike where I live where most places closes at 12-1am, downtown MTL especially St-Cathrine, Peel, St-Laurent, Cresent etc etc a lot of places stay open way into the early hours 3-4am. And some Chinese restos stays open that late...nothing like Chinese or Vietnamese food at 3am after long night of drinking and karaoke, alot better than the only choices I have here at home..Mcdo and Wendys drive through errrr LOL

I love Montreal. They have great strip clubs on St. Catherines, and great old town style in the old part of montreal. Gambling also. The women are hot too. Great town al-in-all! Ohe yeah, Canadians also have the best beer. The only problem I have is that many people only prefer to speak French and refuse to have a conversation with us Americans in English as most Americans do not speak French.
I love Montreal. Fun, fun city.
