Is it difficult to live in Montreal in winter?

Travel Tips
If you live in a warm country right now you'll find the winter here very cold. I moved here last year from England and found it extremely cold. In England temperatures are usualy 0degrees at the coldest, but here it went down to -37degrees, and with the wind chill it can feel colder.

However, if you dress properly then you'll be okay, but it's starting to get cold already now, and you have to be prepared for the cold. We only had warm weather for 4 months.

Others
I only visited there. I remember they have some kind of underground malls connecting buildings downtown. So it must not be too hard to get around, at least in the city.
Depends on how fond you are of cold and snow! But it's a very cosmopolitan city.
Moved to Montreal last summer from Houston. Winter wasn't half as bad as people said. Started getting cold around mid Oct., started snowing in Dec., got REALLY cold in Jan. and Feb., warmed up by early April (60's and up). In my opinion wasn't that bad and it was my 1st northern winter. If a Texas boy can handle it, n-e-1 can. Besides, this city is way too ridiculously 'off the hook' to let the winter stop you.
