Is it easy enough to find entry level work in Montreal only knowing a little French but still learning? |
Travel Info I mean jobs such as bar work, cleaning, hospitality. Anything really Travel Tips In the west of Montreal, You could find a work and speak english every day. But if You would like to integrate the french community at work, people are open with people like You. You're welcome. Others You don't need to speak french to be a dishwasher or any other entry job. Consider it a challenge to brush up your skills! I think for those kinds of jobs, no. Your employer would probably appreciate the fact that you're trying to learn. Can't be too hard, but you have a much better shot if the employer speaks English. Look in the Gazette, or try the Bar-B-Barn or Bens, or bagel places. Also factories, they'll hire anyone. My cv Are You Canadian ?If not you will need a work permit first. In a Bar you will need French .I would concentrate in Westmount , where the population is more Anglo. |
