Travel Tips
I'm biased as I live in Montreal...I've been to the other two cities though, and all 3 are great. 3 best cities of which to live in, in Canada.

It all depends what someone defines as quality though....All cities have access to our medicare system...all have access to education...

I would go with Montreal though because everything is alot cheaper here...There was a report on CBC news not long ago that was comparing housing prices...and it was shown that Montreal has cheaper housing for equal or better value...meaning that the same house in the same "type" of neighbourhood is alot more affordable here than the other two cities...

Also, Montreal has cheaper higher education... Ok, so we go through Cegep, but come University, it's dirt cheap compared to any other province or city...

Despite recent headlines, Montreal is also very safe...Safer than Toronto...I'm not sure if it's safer than Vancouver though...There isn't many homicides or sexual assaults...and there's alot more police cars in the streets (I read in the paper 2 months ago how the Montreal mayor was adding alot more police presence to the city)...

Also, public transportation is cheaper here than anywhere else..It costs students between the ages of 12 and 25, and the elderly about 35$ per month to use the bus and metro system allowing people without cars to get around...it costs other cities double that amount...

The only thing Montreal doesnt have going for it, other than terrible roads, are the high taxes...

Every city is good provided you have such cities in your heart and mind.
I like all, no competition.
Having lived in all 3 cities at different times I can only say that Toronto which is too congested, dirty, smoggy, traffic is ridiculous, housing is expensive, would be my last choice. Vancouver continually ranks high in cities of the World to live in but it is very expensive. Beautiful though. Montreal is a great city, reasonable home prices. All 3 cities have their good points but if I had it all to do over again, I'd skip Toronto.
I have lived in all of the three cities and I say Vancouver. It has the ocean, the beautiful city, and the friendliest people out of the three. It is also the healthiest for air quality and more environmentally aware people.
Toronto in the summer you can't breath for smog and if you can't speak French - don't live in Montreal.
My opinion.
Anywhere in Canada!!
You'll get good treatment when you travel abroad if they know you're from Canada.

I live in Toronto.....and I like it here......you get the good with the bad.....but all cities are like that.....nowhere is perfect.

Vancouver is beautiful with all the ocean and mountains and the cost of living is high.......you pay for the view! And I heard it's very hard to find a job in Vancouver......if you have a job there you are lucky and should just stick with it.

Montreal.....the roads are bad and crazy.....and yes you should at least some french for sure.

Calgary is also booming right now with jobs and housing.......

Toronto is my home....born and raised.....and it is the most multicultural city in the world.......it has 5 Chinatowns......CN Tower is the tallest tower in the world...Yonge Street is the longest street in the world.......and The Path is the longest underground mall in the world.....

It's not so bad!
