Nope. Most e-mail domains in Canada end in .ca or .com. A few use .net (e.g. torfree.net).

Besides, I think it's safe to assume that when a Canadian friend gives you his/her e-mail address, he/she is not expecting you to append anything to it. Source(s): I've had e-mail addresses on various Canadian, American and German domains since 1994.
