What area is Waverly in? |
Travel Info What area is Waverly in? Travel Tips NDG, possibly goes up to Cote-St-Luc as well. EDIT: **** I wanna go hooooooooooooooome. I miss Montreal and I don't know where anything is anymore. They're right, I was thinking of Walkley. Worse yet, I did use to live near Waverly as well. (Like four blocks away, for six years.) EDIT again: I would say it starts (from the south) maybe a few blocks in the Plateau, then Mile End, then what I consider (but I don't think the urban planners do) Park-Ex and finally Ahunsic (sp?) but it's never as far west as Outremont (which is entirely west of Parc). So there! And one last edit: If you're not from Montreal, you may be wondering why we're claiming it runs north-south. Just accept it. Montreal's grid is off-kilter. Source(s): used to live near there Other Travel Tips LOL. Thanks for the encouragement. Mine was not the best answer! You mean Waverly Street? It's a long one, going N-S, from Gouin Blvd, passing thru Outremont (Jarry Park) and ending somewhere in the Plateau Mont-Royal, close to Laurier Blvd. You can search for it on http://www.stm.info/ Yeah, it's not NDG. The guy above me is correct. It begins at about Mont-Royal(?) and extends north parellel to St-Laurent. The area is known as the Plateau closer to Mont-Royal, and the Mile end further up. Great place by the way... |
