Good lucky JP Others if you are intending on living in canada then yes, you should obtain a canadian driving license. If you are returning to the USA you can apply to renew your license from canada (at the department of transportation) if you are going to be in canada while your license expires dont panic (I was in europe when mine expired) according to what state you live in you have up to a year to renew after it expires (if you are out of the USA) You can only switch to a Canadian driving license if you are legally a resident of Canada. Otherwise the US license will suffice if you're only temporarily in the country. You may apply for a new license now before you leave USA. |
