Going to Montreal for a day..? |
Travel Info We are going there for the day...what is there to do and see for that short time? What is can't miss? Also, are there any nice Indian shops there? Any nice vegaterian restraunts. Thanks Travel Tips I would suggest visiting old Montreal, it is very popular. Has a European feel about it. If you like shopping Montreal has awesome underground shopping and fantastic boutiques You can get everywhere by the Metro (our subway) Montreal is very famous for amazing restaurants of all sorts. There is also vegetarian restaurants. A good one to go to is Commensal it is a buffet. Have fun :) Others Well, you could visit the Old Port and Old Montreal, which has buildings dating as far back as the 1600's. There are a lot of shops and stores in this area. if its for a day go to mount royal. or take one of those sightseeing busses for the day. nice shops everywhere Old Port, "The Mountain", Park Avenue (bagels at St. Viateur), there are some good indian restaurants as well. There are some very nice vegetrain restaurants in montreal. Go to gomontreal.qc.ca. or .com or. ca Go to the planetarium, the old port, the suburbs,, everywhere. Its a beautful city. |
