I would try googling their name and see if anything (like a MySpace page) pops up. If they have a common name, try adding details about them (like profession, city, hobbies, etc) in the search criteria to narrow it down. If you know where they work, try to find out the typical email format used my their company (like jsmith@company.com or john.smith@company.com) and just give it a shot.
