Trip to Montreal? |
Travel Info My friends and I are going on trip to Montreal. We're taking a train from Windsor to Toronto then to Montreal. Are Hostel rates for one night or for the whole stay? Anybody know any good bars in Montreal or where to pick up some girls? (My friends and I are all 18) Travel Tips Hi, Typically hostel rates are per night. Try Twizi, they have a Montreal page with several choices. If you are staying in central (downtown) area there is the H么tel & Auberge de Paris for around 18.00 dollars a night for their dorms. A safe bet always is Hostelling International hostels (there is one in Montreal) the HI - Montreal is 25 dollars a night. Source(s): http://www.twizi.com/montrealhostels.htm... Other Travel Tips Don't know about the rates of Hostels but there are many awesome bars around the Concordia University area. There is a large youth hostel near the train station. Unfortunately that is in the English side of the city where most of the raunchy Americans go. Do know that Montreal is one of the world's more libertine cities. The girls pick up boys more than boys pick up girls. But it is all much better in the French speaking districts. The partner swapping and sharing and orgy clubs are also in the French area - the English areas have only typical strip clubs, and the bars are much noisier. Me. A French (but bi-lingual) Montrealer. St laurent blvd, very trendy, upper class crowd, mostly english speaking (buona notte, med, sofia's, gogo lounge, rouge, ...a whole bunch of other clubs!) the girls here are generally approachable...then again, if you really want easy targets, go to the strip clubs...the whole city is a red light district! i live here...i work in the financial center of montreal and there a strip club at the corner of my building!!! |
