Cheap Motels in Montreal?

Travel Info
My boyfriend and I plan on going up to Montreal, Canada the week of March 10-17th for our spring break. Because we're poor college students, we only plan on staying for two or three nights and we want to stay somewhere cheap. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap motel or inn in Montrael?

Travel Tips
Your best bet, in terms of price-quality ratio, would be to stay in a bed and breakfast. You'll easily find something under $100/night USD. Check out http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/montreal-... or www.bbcanada.com/quebec/montr%...

Otherwise cheap hotels in the downtown core are hard to find. I only know of a few:

- Manoir Ambrose www.manoirambrose.com
- Trylon Apartments (will save you some money as you can cook in your room) www.trylon.ca
- Manoir St. Denis (cheapest I know) www.manoirstdenis.com
- Hotel Castel St. Denis www.castelsaintdenis.qc.ca

...anyways there are many more. My preference when I travel, however, is always to stay in a B&B. Or, if you aren't looking for that romantic experience, there are several hostels in the city.

Have fun!
