Travel Info Lasalle is a small town Travel Tips Lasalle is my home town miss it alot :(...currently livin in Ireland but miss it. Others South west . Between Verdun and Dorval. La Salle is an integral arrondissement or borough of Montr茅al,Qu茅bec,Canada. It is situated in the Southwest of the Island of Montr茅al on Lac St.Louis. It is named after Cavelier de La Salle, who was an explorer who founded the City of Chicago,Illinois, U.S. of A. A Main street of Chicago is named after him ,as well as a university. LaSalle is between Verdun and Lachine, not Verdun and Dorval. LaSalle is also not a small town; it is a rather high-density, fairly multi-cultural, suburbanized borough of Montreal city.
