Can I get by only speaking English in Montreal? |
Travel Info I'm only know very very little French (which I will try to speak when Im there). Do most restaurants/stores employees bilingual? Travel Tips Montreal is unique within Canada. Although Canada officially is bilingual English and French, Montreal is the only city that is. If you go have a good time! hey love, I do live in Toronto( canada) and i go to montreal alot and i aint speak french u do fine, one thing they dont like is WHEN U TRY TO SPEAK FRENCH AND U DONT KNOW HOW loool just speak english and u be find that is theire sec language u be fine and enjoy it u going to love ittttttttttttttttttttt Yes, they are bilingual. They have a huge English tourist population so they are required to speak Both English and French. I live in Montreal, you won't have any problems |
