Navigating the Montreal Airport? |
Travel Info I am leaving Los Angeles in the summer to Rome and making a stop in Montreal for a connecting flight. With one hour and 20 minutes between flights, I am very worried. I dont know how to tell which airport (if there is more than one) in Montreal we are stopping at by looking at my ticket but I assume it is Trudeau. Does anyone have any experience navigating the Montreal airport? Going through customs? I'm flying Air Canada if that helps.... Thanks. Travel Tips Here is the terminal map of Montreal Trudeau airport. http://www.admtl.com/passenger_services.... Here is a site that will answer International arrival, departure and trans-border questions that you may have. http://www.airportwayfinder.com/yul/yul_... Although, I haven't been to Montreal airport, this next website has passenger's feedback on that airport. http://www.airlinequality.com/airports/a... Hope this information will make your transit through Montreal a little easier. Other Travel Tips Your ticket will show you which gate you will embark from. Just follow the signs from the gate that your plane lets the passengers out. Since you are going out of the country, you will pass through customs. Make sure you have a valid and current passport with you. If you are clean (no drugs on you) then you should be ok. Don't sweat it. Your travel agent should make the arrangements including the connecting flight. Your flight will probably land at P.E.T. airport, so it is unlikely that you will have to travel from Mirabel to P.E.T. Once you disembark, you will be guided to your connecting flight. You should have your documents ready at customs. It is very easy to get around the airport. Just follow the signs. A Canadian flyer Only Trudeau is used now for commercial flights. Do not worry. Trudeau is about one tenth the size of LAX. Your flight to Rome will probably leave from the same (comparatively small) international terminal to which your flight from L.A. arrives. For the most part you will find Canada Customs more polite than the Yanks are. |
