Travel Info In the movie Babel-what attracts tourist to Morocco? Travel Tips I am Moroccan and after watching this movie my friend told me that she would never go to my country. I think that Babel doesn't depict Morocco in a positive light, there are beautiful things and people to see over there. In the movie the tourists were probably attracted to a different lifestyle. They were seeking an adventure, something real and different from their worlds. It seems like Brad Pitt and his wife wanted to work on their relationship and were probably attracted by the remoteness and simplicity of this special country. Others Well, everything it has that they couldn't find elsewhere... Not sure why they chose that spot, but they are on vacation. what they dont talk about child protitutes hashish and absinthe and so on vices and the mountains of the moon a life style of decadant colons and the arabs when young and beautiful read naked lunch by burroughs william that is or read the sparknotes on it Morocco is not attracting tourist only but also cenima industry in one of the biggest studio in world **studio oscar** in ourazazate city in which most of the honored and rewarded films are made partially or totally there ...i think the story of film babel has nothing to do with reality in MOROCCO and film is a scene tht can relate the stone age ..fire age.. 17 century .....or modern life ..and why not fiction beyond our sphere even..i e to say tht all film stories are just a mixture of devices ... |
