Can anyone give me any tips for restaurants/places to visit etc/local customs in Agadir, Morocco?

Travel Info
I'm looking for top tips about Agadir, Morocco. Am staying in one of the nicer hotels, but am worried about not knowing enough about local customs, rules, laws etc and also if anyone has any good tips on where to eat or visit that would be great too. Thanks

Funny that someone gave a thumbs up to Chicken Beach because I live in Agadir and think it is THE worst restaurant down at the beach front. Try any other one and the food is better, the best imo is Costabella.
The port is great for seafood.
Venture into the city and look around. Life is easy here, don't worry. We obviously appreciate if you dress modestly when coming into the locals part of town (shorts to knees at least please lol, and keep shirt on-no bikini tops on girls in local area).
Have fun.

I stayed in Agadir once. Don't worry, they are well geared up for tourists. You will have plenty of opportunities to book guided sightseeing trips once you get there. Go for some watersports if you get the opportunity plus take a trip to the Atlas mountains. The locals are very friendly and kind. I went to the house of one local. They were very kind and gave me a henna tattoo and genuinely expected nothing in return.
don t worry i m morocan .agadir is a touristic city even the best in morocco ..u ll enjoy yoyr stay .people, hotel there are so nice ..life of people is based on tourism .they speak all languages .agadir is full tourists for whole year ...it so easy ...just go ..u ll enjoy ..
if you want some good seafood for to the port of agadir and you'll find all kind of fish and seafood. it's not fancy at all but very delicious.
For lunch there is a place called "Chicken Beach " that we went a few times. For a bagette it is around 20 Dirham ( 拢1.25) really nice too. Also the Pizza Hut is nice too there 拢2.80 for 9 inch pizza, potato wedges and a drink. Avoid a place called Chez Mimi though it's awful (service and food).
All the ones i mention are along the beach front (the side near the Kasbah).
Have a good time, enjoy xx
Went here from 27th March 2007 for a week.
