Travel Info how many indians are living in morocco?Is there any site for Indians in morocco? Travel Tips There is an indian community living in Morocco, they are mostly working in the trade. In Tangier, the city where I live, there is some Indian poeple who owns some shops of electronics.. You can find Indian poeple in Mohamed V street in Casablanca, they own clothes shops. Others sadly just one indian that i know of and that would be you lol and your website would be www.whostolemysleerpe.com There is no Indian community to speak of; there is only one Indian restaurant in the country that I know of, for that matter (I don't mean to be racist - I'm just saying that when a community of any ethnic group forms, a restaurant usually comes soon after), in Tangier, but as far as I know, it's run by Moroccans. +++ I'd like to add that I was partly wrong - a friend today just informed me that there is a small (maybe 50 families) Indian community in Casa - many of whom have been here for two or three generations, but now speak Arabic and English...I don't know them or how you'd find them, though. I don't really know of an Indian population in Morocco and I lived there for 18 years. The only Indians I would think live there would be the diplomats (ambassadors and their families). I think it's a shame since the two cultures are different but also similar in some way. I love my culture (Moroccan culture) and Indian culture. Did you know that Indian movies are really popular in Morocco. Try contacting the Indian embassy in Morocco I'm sure they have more insightful info on the whole thing. Good luck ;) Indians aren't allowed in Morocco. I know some indians living there ...most of them must be in casablanca :) I don't know of any. It's mainly just Arabics and Muslims |
