What risk are we at from Scorpions, Camel rats and poisonous spiders in Agadir, resort?

Travel Info
I've been reading the rough guide to Morocco and I wondered what 'real' risk we were running in the actual resort with regards to snakes, scorpions, camel rats and dangerous/fatal spider bites. Also have read a lot about the wild dogs - any advice would be great!! Thanks

Travel Tips
With the level of cleaning and sweeping in the tourist hotels in those resorts, very little. But it's always wise to wear at least flip-flops, in case of a (rare) scorpion. You would only be likely to come across a biting spider in a disused, uncleaned place. Snakes are more afraid of you than you are of them. If you "go bush", wear proper shoes or trainers and scuff your feet if walking across something which one could hide in. Shoes will protect your feet from jiggers too. And take normal precautions if you put something down on the ground outside and leave it a while, in case something chooses to shelter under it. But again - that's not likely to bother you if you're just going as a tourist. I would expect biting insects to be more of a problem than anything you've mentioned, so take insect repellent lotion and use it generously from sundown onwards. And put some on your lower legs and feet from about 5.00pm if you're standing or sitting around on bare sandy earth. There's a tiny biting insect which flies low at that time of day. And take Anthisan to apply when you do get bitten.

Think of the camel rats as just a wild animal. The ordinary rats which hang around kitchens are more of a concern, if you see them, because of kitchen hygiene - just like anywhere. The wild dogs are objects of pity, rather than fear.
Others
none of these things are predators to humans, and will avoid you if they can. just take the normal precautions for any hot country i.e. remember little beasties like to hide in things - shoes, tents, sleeping bags etc.
i there was a particular high risk - especially in a resort - i'm sure it will be easily dealt with be local medics.
I've lived in Morocco for awhile now, and have only seen a scorpion once, in Merzouga (the Sahara). It is unlikely that you will see one anywhere on the coast. As for snakes and camel rats - never seen them in Morocco at all, aside for the snake trainers in the Djemaa al Fna in Marrakech.

Agadir is a sheltered tourist town with little semblance of being in Morocco. Don't worry - you'll hardly even meet a Moroccan (that isn't serving you), never mind wild Moroccan animals.

As for the wild dogs, well - that's another story. You will see dogs and cats everywhere on the streets. The majority of the dogs are fairly tame, having been fed by butcher shops their whole lives - but if you see them in a pack, just calmly walk in the other direction. It's unlikely anyway, the government usually kills them off once a year or so.

The cats are harmless, and should be fed.
In Agadir??
No, you won麓t find snakes and Scorpions there.
If you want to see these kind of animals you would have to go the the Sahara desert...
Agadir is modern resort just like Mallorca, don麓t expect 3rd world standard!!
I never seen to many wild dogs there and honestly, they are not wild at all..
Don麓t worry, just enjoy your holidays!!!
