Where can I get cheap ticket to Rabat, Morocco? |
Travel Info I'm from New York City. Travel Tips The cheapest flights from the US aren't to Rabat, in fact, there are no flights to Rabat. The good news is that Casablanca, where the country's main airport lies, is one hour directly by train from Rabat. Your best bet is to check RAM (Royal Air Maroc) flights first - from NYC to Casa - those are often the easiest and comparably priced. If you're not satisfied with those prices, your best bet is to fly to either London, Amsterdam, Paris, or Madrid from NYC, then catch an inexpensive flight from Europe to Morocco (there's an open skies agreement, so there are many). www.triotours.com - somewhere on this site is a nice summary of all the airlines that fly to Morocco. Very helpful. Others I suggest you try www.expedia.com. They may have some special fares which cost less but they're not changeable and nonefundable. They cater travels going to the seven continents. Take the red-eye to Slingshit, Egypt, transfer to the commuter flight to Flatcockrock, Morocco, and then rent a camel... www.newcenturyworldtravel.com When I came to Morocco last November I found the cheapest price on Orbitz.com and it was with Royal Air Maroc. I had a non-stop flight from JFK to Casablanca. Even if you find that they are not the cheapest, you will find that they are a great airline and worth the price. And, there actually ARE flights into the Sal茅/Rabat airport but only via Air France. They probably are not the cheapest and from NY, they probably don't have the most convenient itinerary. |
