Do you find schools in Morocco whose language of instruction is English? |
Travel Info Specifically: Secondary Schools: Grade/Year 7 upwards. Can you also provide any links for further information. Thanks in advance of answers. Travel Tips Yes, but there are very few. Most secondary and middle schools are taught in Arabic (and some French), there are private schools in which the language of instruction is French, and then there are a handful of English-language schools. Here are those I'm aware of: George Washington Academy, Casablanca (www.gwa.ac.ma) American School of Tangier (http://www.as-t.org/) American School of Casablanca (http://www.cas.ac.ma/) Rabat American School (http://www.ras.edu.ac.ma/tiki-index.php?... Ifrane School (part of Al Akhawayn University www.aui.ma) American School of Marrakech (http://www.as-m.org/) British Council of Morocco also provides resources (http://www.britishcouncil.org/morocco.ht... You may want to check with the American Cultural Association too (www.aca.org.ma) Source(s): Live in Morocco Other Travel Tips most arab countries you can go and study english as many schools are well established with proficient teachers There are several schools: In northern Morocco there is the American School of Tangier (AST). In Casablanca there are two as far as I know (ASC) American School of Casablanca and the George Washington Academy. In Southern Morocco more precisely Marrakech there is the (ASM) American School of Marrakesh. They all teach English even Math, History and Science classes are in English besides other classes so as to learn French and Arabic. http://www.as-m.org/ for ASM and http://www.as-t.org/ for AST The official language in morocco is Arabic and French, but as david j said you can find schools whose language is English. |
