it's a good idea--and safe if you guys are smart about it--i'll let others on here tell you where to go but I am going to post a link to pics from a twosome that went there and had a lot of fun--I think it will inspire you to go--I love it!!!! (I added the link in the sources)

beware of some guys there trying to take advantage of you, you find this in any country but there are cultural differences and things are perceived differently on boths sides (yours and theirs)

I'll star this and hopefully nomadic will see it--I'm sure she'll give you some good advice!
Read some good guide books too---bon voyage!

EDIT: I have a suggestion. Buy a djellaba when you get there, they go over your clothes are comfortable and help you blend in a little bit better--plus they make a good souvenir. Some ppl take them and put a rod in through the sleeves and hang them on the wall as decoration when they get home. (i've known ppl who have done this with other arab dresses too)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edk1qjlgb... Turn up the volume and get ready to shake it!! (you can also see they met some guys while they were there)

watching this video makes me want to cry because i was supposed to go this summer....*sigh* inshallah next year we can go...

married to moroccan -been to morocco
GOOD Luck..lol
why not go on holiday to spain cadiz, malaga, or somewhere in the the south then you can have a book a guided tour which i'm told is very good includes a meal, camel ride etc you can go for either 1 day or 2 & you'd also get chance to vist Gibraltar which is great for a day but nothing longer, trust me i lived 10 minute drive away from Gibraltar. I wouldn't advise going not 2 young females going alone without a guide
I started reading up about Morocco online after I met several men online from there. My fiance is from Morocco. The people that I have talked to online are in my opinion the nicest people you will met anywhere. They love americans. Morocco boasts the fact that they were the first nation to acknowledge the USA as a nation. The original treaty is still in effect and they are one of the only nations to have a museum of american culture. It was the original home/office of the first american consulate and I think it was in Tangier. You should visit the most popular cities, like marakesh, casablanca, tangier (on the coast of spain) there is a ferry that goes to spain every day (the straits of gibraltar), Rabat, which is the capital, fez and Kenitra. My fiance is from Kenitra and I read an article online that the people in that small town are some of the most genuinely polite people you will ever meet. Take a look at this website for more information. http://www.morocco.com. WOW I WISH I WERE GOING WITH YOU. HAVE FUN!!!
hi

depends on your age and what your into, I visited morocco (agadir) with my friend (both females aged 28)

It was a good holiday, not much clubbing, or bars, and your gonna get oogled and stared at by men if you think you can walk outside in a bikini, shorts and t-shirt where ok but we still got a lot of unwanted attention.

Women travelling alone should avoid none tourist places I think.

We went to Marakesh for a trip and it was amazing, experienced the real culture, snake charmers etc, but if your after a party holiday keep to the areas like agadir.

We stayed all inclusive through first choice at the Carribean village agador, very nice, lots of friendly people, right by the main beach.
