High heels and covering up?

Okay, Moroccophiles, here's a question. What's the point of dressing extremely modest, then wearing high heels? I mean, I'll tell you that I personally hate heels, never wear them, and don't understand them no matter what the clothes that go with them, so I'm definitely biased, but how come there are so many Moroccan women who wear high heels with djellaba and hijab? Aren't heels meant for looking sexy and accentuating the butt? I just don't get it!

(And okay, I'll make an exception here for very short people - they've got an excuse)

Hi, high heels are Not to be worn by muslim women. They accentuate the 'rear end' as a coupler of people mention, this of course draws attention to it, which is contrary to the whole point of covering....also they change the height of the woman, which is considered doing something strictly for the sake of showing off without anyreal need...they can also make that "click clock" noise as a woman walks, again drawing attention to her self......just wear em at home.

They are sexy. It probably makes the girls that wear them feel good about themselves. You can wear heels and be modest too.
Yes hells are made to make a person's legs look sexy, but depending on the person, they also make you feel good when you wear them, at least i know they do that for me. Most women like to feel sexy.
Maybe its a kinky thing - why souldn't they get to wear something that makes them feel sexy?!

Or maybe its the fashion and they are dedicated followers of it!
well because the high heels make them beautiful. or maybe they dont have any other shoe than high heels that will match their clothes. becuase high heels looks good in almost ANY kind of outfit
I think its like having to wear uniforms to school but wearing a sexy underwear...knowing that you have it in makes you feel a little better and feminine.
It is because they do what they can do.. there is nothing in their law book agaisnt high heels so that is what they can wear and stay within their regulated dress protocol, same reason many of them that are not of the strictest vein of muslim wear beuatiful or colorful silk headscarves.... all women will find a way to feminize if given the chance (which is why little girls take flowers and stick them in their hair without being taught to)
