Do Moroccan men really make great husbands? |
Travel Info I know it's a silly question, but I am friends with a couple of Moroccan men. I don't doubt that either of them are going to make great husbands for a couple of lucky ladies someday, and I've heard wonderful things about Moroccan men and the way that they love their women. Is any female here, reading my question, married to a Moroccan? If you are, does he treat you very well? Travel Tips I love mine!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I think there are some cultural traits that are very positive but it really is up to the individual. I don't want to say they are all great. I've never met a better group of friendly ppl but I have met Moroccans that aren't so great either (of BOTH sexes). EDIT: I would also like to say that I was looking for a Moroccan to be my husband (I'm Muslim and didn't want to date- I went looking for a husband). I would've married somebody from anywhere but I was going into it hoping to find a Moroccan. But seriously, I don't like the idea of saying one culture is better than another in this way. IT REALLY BUGS ME. EDIT2: I also agree w/ Sarah that their faith has a lot to do with making them a good husband or not - that along with if they take their role as husband seriously or not. Source(s): Married to a Moroccan, have Moroccan co-worker, had many Moroccan friends b4 I even became Muslim. I know married and divorced Moroccans, ppl in good marriages and bad where there is cheating etc. Seriously, I have heard everything! I think it is not that much different that any other culture. The only difference I see is that those that take a marriage seriously probably take it more seriously than most Americans who think they take thier marriage seriously. (I'm using America as an example because that is where I am from.) Other Travel Tips I'm not married yet but engaged He's very romantic, he proposed to me 5 days ago it was my birthday, we went out the whole day, we went to the movies, then for a walk and at sunset, we went walking on the beach, took me by the hands, and read a poem he wrote me, then said how much i was special and he loved me, got on one knee and said how he became a better man now that i'm with him, that he never wants to lose me, he's happy with me. got the ring and said: Will you marry me? I cried, he did we're happy and he will be a wonderful husband. This is quite like asking if any nationality of men make good husbands. I am married to a Moroccan woman and she makes the best wife I could have ever had. Remember that Moroccans are known as being the most generous people on the planet and the only thing that I can see that would be an obsticle is religion. If you are not Muslim and he is that can certainly be a problem. Other than that I have many friends who are married to Moroccans, both male and female, and the divorce rate thus far is 0%. http://www.bestmorocco.com I'm not married to one yet, but I'm engaged to one and getting married in the late fall or early winter. We've been talking on line and using webcam and mic for 9 months. I met him after I swore I would never be in another relationship ever, but after only a few weeks of talking to him online I fell for him. He is the sweetest, most loving man I have ever met. He is always writing me poems and tells me how much he loves me constantly. I have dated men from many different countries and I would choose a Moroccan man over all of them. I can only speak about my husband. He is Moroccan and he is a great husband. Personally I think it has more to do with his commitment to his faith, his loyalty to family and his belief of what a man should be. Now that I list those things I can see these characteristics in many Moroccan men. I think it must be a good part that make good human beings and husbands. |
