Travel Info I am visiting Mumbai (India) 5th to 20 December to attend the marriage of my friend (day marriage). Please suggest following:- 1. Climate of Mumbai 2. Places to visit in Mumbai 3. Special of Mumbai. 4. What to wear in Marriage (hindu - day marriage). 5. Restaraunt in Central Mumbai. I will be thankful to all who is going to assist me. Travel Tips December means winter. In Mumbai the effect of winter chillness and fog is seen in early morning and late evening. In the afternoon it is asusual as a summer. There are many places to visit in Mumbai: Gateway of India, Malabar Hill, Taraporewala Aquarium, Juhu-Chowpatty Beach, Worli seaface, Siddhivinayak Temple, Powai, Lokhadwala Complex, Flora Fountain, Jehangir Art Gallery, Nehru Planetorium Fasion Street, Churchgate, Bandra, Marine Drive etc. Special of Mumbai is Vada Pav and bhelpuri in chowpatty. You can even opt for delicious vadilal icecreams. You can wear a sherwani. There are 1000s of quality restaurants in Central Mumbai. One more thing. Please take a ride in Mumbai local. It will be an amazing thing to do in Mumbai. Others Though the climate is suitable for visit anytime of the year, the best season is between October-February. June to November are monsoon months and these months are loaded with rains and are accompanied by lovely weather. The temperature during summers is 42 degrees during summers and in winters it may fall to a minimum of 12 degrees. Climate will be slightly cold, but not as cold as in North India. Important tourist spots are Nariman Point, Juhu beach, Mahalaxmi Temple and Borivili National Park. Speciality of Mumbai is vada-pav and pav-bhaji. During marriage formal wear such as pant and shirt is enough. Mumbai has plenty of restaurants and u can chose one depending on ur budget.
