I don't believe that Goa is an international airport so where is the closest international airport to Goa? Is it better to travel by train or by car to Goa?

Whenever I go to Goa I have to take a stop over at Mumbai for a few hours and then take something like Jet Airways or Indian Airlines to Goa's airport. I'm fairly sure that Goa is only domestic. I could be wrong though.

The plane ride from Mumbai's domestic airport to Goa's airport is only for 50 or so minutes so it's not that bad. It all depends on where you are starting from ofcourse.

The closest international airport to goa is mumbai.. there are plenty of flights by low cost airlines which fly to goa from mumbai daily.. these are pretty cheap too and its just takes 45 mins by air.. so reach mumbai and then fly to goa from there..
