Which Railway Station is the Closest one to the Mumbai domestic Airport.? |
Travel Info I am travelling from pune towards mumbai CST in "Mumbai mail" during night. And from mumbai i am flying for delhi at 05.55 hrs. Which station is the closest one to the domestic terminal, so that i can get down there. How much should a taxi or rickshaw cost to get there? and also please tell me if there is any public transport to get there? Please Reply. I am in need. Thanks in advance. Travel Tips Please check if your train stops at Dadar, because some do, instead of travelling all the way upto to Mumbai CST. Vile Parle station is in the Western Suburb. If you alight at Dadar you can ask someone to direct you to the Western Line it is very simple. Get down from the platform climb the bridge and walk towards the Ticket Counter. Book your ticket for Vile Parle station. From Vile Parle station - ask for Vile Parle (East) side - Just at the foot of the bridge you will get many autos to take you to the Airport. Rickshaw ride is short not more than 15 min. Leave early because the Airport road is under construction right now. Inform your rickshaw driver where you want to go. i.e. Terminal 1B or A Jet airways, Air Deccan, Sahara, Spice Jet leave from Terminal 1 B and Kingfisher and Indian Airlines leave from Terminal A. All the best Others try vile parle ....and from there should be 20 - 30 Rs (and maybe night travel charges) depending on the exact time u travel....guess early in the morning the best way to travel is a taxi or a rick....be safe Santa Cruz or Andheri, both would be equidistant. Should not come more than Rs 50/- Max. vile parle is the nearest station. From cst you take a ticket upto vile parle which will cost you Rs 8/- Then catch a train which goes to last stop Andheri from platform No 1 or 2. Vile parle is the second last stop you can get down at Vile parle very easily as it is the second last station. you go to vile parle (East). you catch a auto which will take only Rs15/-.the train fare will be Rs8/-only. By train you will reach soon & save time & money. By Taxi it will cost you upto Rs 250/-. If u r travelling from Pune get off at Kurla and take an auto... at that time of the day an auto should charge u 100 happy journey... |
