What to wear in Munich in November? |
Travel Info I will be travelling to Munich from Nov 13th to 17th for a business convention/ exhibition. Need advise on what to wear to keep warm, is not too bulky, and more importantly still look professional and smart for business meetings. I understand it is around 5 degrees now, and I can't imagine how cold that feels and how much clothes I should wear to keep warm, as I lived in Asia. I will most likely be wearing a suit. Is that enough to keep out the cold, or do I have to bring a trench coat? Thanks. Travel Tips I second the layers. Here in Manchester (similar conditions I would think) I wear a vest or thermal vest under a shirt, then have a jacket or cardigan over the top, followed by a wool blend coat (actually, my favourite overcoat is made of llama wool. It rocks!) I also recommend a hat, scarf and gloves, and tights if you're not wearing trousers. Others colthes wear warm clothes....... bring a coat, and a smart jumper, or buy it there, because they have more there too choose, Gloves will help and "Gluehwein" (mulled wine) keeps the cold in bay I was just going to suggest a trench coat, my advice to you is to bring one just incase. It took me a while to reliase you were male, you know. The question was a bit blurry, so I didn't know what to suggest. Anyways, good luck in Munich x Wear 3 layers under your coat. Sounds strange, but a thermal vest under a thin top and then a stylish jumper over a knee length or long skirt and smart boots. Finish off with a long swede coat and glam but warm scarf and leather gloves. It's the four layers that will keep you warm without too much bulk. take a trench coat and ear muffs, munich is very cold in november |
