Travel Info How can i find the best way for having an apartment in Munich Germany? 2 rooms and living room ..etc? Travel Tips First of all, it will take some time to find a nice appartement in Munich, since there is a small shortage of rooms. If you can afford it, the easiest and fastest way is to use a broker. These always take 2.38 times the monthly rent as a fee. You find a lot of appartements offered by brokers and some non-broker ones on http://www.immobilienscout24.de... . If you don't want to use a broker, you will need some time (last time, it took me about 6 weeks to find a suitable appartement where I got the contract). Try to find appartements in the "Kleinanzeigen" part of the local newspapers (Abendzeitung, S眉ddeutsche Zeitung, etc). You can find the Abendzeitung offers online here: http://kleinanzeigen.abendzeitung.de/ind... Usually, if these offers are older than 2-3 days, they are already gone. You can buy the Abendzeitung fresh from print one day ahead. This could give you an advantage. Good luck and don't worry... everybody I know found something sometime. And it's not as bad as it used to be anymore... Others If you speak German, check out the Sueddeutsche Zeitung, I believe on Thursdays and weekends. They have a huge section for renting apts. and houses. If you don't speak German, there's a magazine called "Munich Found" and I believe they have ads for apts. there, too. If not, they have relocation companies listed that can help you. |
