There are several lakes (e.g. Starnberger See) close to Munich, and also the Alps are nearby. Italy is not far away and in your place I'd think about going to South Tyrol (for mountains) and further to Venice (Adriatic Sea). To my experience most Italians are children friendly. I would not recommend taking a flight to Spain or Portugal if you want to spend only 4-5 days there. Venice with all its bridges and channels is great to experience, even for children. I've been there as a child! |
